Candy Yum Yum.

I absolutely LOVE this lipstick by MAC. Its a uniquely vibrant pink that's perfect for both evenings and during the day. I've created a really easy wearable look, keeping the skin dewy and focusing on the lips. I love how it turned out and will definitely be using this throughout summer!
Heres a list of the products I used:

FACE
MAC Prep and Prime - Skin Visage Primer
Makeup Forever HD Invisible Foundation - 153
MAC Studio Finish Concealer - NC40
MAC Bronzing Powder - Matte
MAC Lustre Drops - Pink Rebel
Sleek Blush - Pixie Pink
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish - Soft and Gentle
MAC Prep and Prime Finishing Powder (only on the t-zone, aim was to keep skin natural looking)

EYES
Urban Decay Primer Potion
MAC Zoom Lash Mascara
Urban Decay Eyeshadow - Midnight Cowboy (inner corner)
Collection 2000 Khol Eyeliner - White (waterline)

LIPS
MAC - Candy Yum Yum

Hope you like this look, comment below with looks that you've created with this lipstick!

  1. Hiya Krishie,

I have just found your blog and honestly i'm in love lol

Anyhow, i'm new to makeup and have started accumulating my very own small collection - when i say collection i mean just the standard foundation, concealer, mascara, eyeliner and bright lipsticks etc. And i really want to try out this look but the glitter is too bold & daring for me, can i try this look with the same shadow shade minus the glitter or does the glitter tie this look together? If so, then is the glitter subtle and is there any fallout (i read a review saying the fall out was pretty bad and you'd probably end up with glitter allover your face)? How can i stop this (the fall out, i mean), please recommend products as well? Also can i trade the bold pink lip in for a purple lipstick instead, like say "Up the Amp", "Violetta" or "Heroine"?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ruby

    1. Hey lovely thanks for your kind comment! You can of course change the glitter shade for something else. This look is just one way of wearing a bold lip, you can change and adjust it to suit your own style as much as you want. When you're looking for a shade to add some highlight there's two ways you can go, a soft pearl shade that has hardly any glitter but adds a subtle shine or a full on glitter shade that I have used here. The choice is yours! As for fall out, a little trick i like to do is add some talc powder or setting powder under my eye before i start my eyes. That way any fall out will fall on the white powder which I can just brush off when I'm finished. Unfortunately a lot of glitter shades will have some fall out so have a bit of a practice with them. And of course you can change the lip colour! Sorry for the essay but hope thats helped you xxx
